GemsVault • Delivery InformationShipping Policy
This policy explains how GemsVault handles order processing, shipping availability, delivery, customs and shipment issues for gemstone purchases made through germsvault.com.

At checkout: The shipping method and charge applicable to your destination are the controlling commercial terms for the order. Because carrier availability and international delivery costs can change, GemsVault does not publish a fixed worldwide shipping price in this policy. Where checkout does not provide an available delivery option, please contact us before completing payment.
01 • Where We ShipShipping destinations
GemsVault’s WooCommerce store is configured to accept sales to all countries. GemsVault uses DHL, FedEx, UPS and Turkish Post (PTT) as shipping carriers, subject to destination availability, service coverage, customs requirements, product characteristics and the shipping service available for the order.
Some destinations may require additional information or may be unavailable for particular products. We will not knowingly dispatch to a destination where doing so would violate applicable law or carrier restrictions.
02 • Shipping ChargesHow shipping costs work
The exact shipping charge, where applicable, should be shown during checkout before the order is finalized. Shipping costs are separate from the product price unless the checkout, product page or order confirmation expressly states otherwise.
Available carrier services may include DHL, FedEx, UPS and Turkish Post (PTT). The carrier selected for an order can vary by destination, parcel characteristics, service availability and the applicable shipping arrangement. A carrier name in this policy does not by itself mean that every service is available to every destination.
For high-value gemstone orders, additional insurance, signature requirements or specialist handling may be appropriate depending on the shipping arrangement.
03 • The Delivery JourneyFrom order to delivery
STEP 01Order received
WooCommerce records the order and the delivery information supplied at checkout.
STEP 02Preparation
GemsVault reviews the order and prepares the gemstone for dispatch subject to payment and availability.
STEP 03Dispatch
When the order is handed to the applicable carrier, available tracking or shipment information will be provided where the service supports it.
STEP 04Delivery
The carrier delivers according to the service selected and the destination’s local requirements.
For purchases governed by Turkish distance-sale rules, where no different delivery period has been agreed, goods generally must be delivered within the applicable statutory maximum of 30 days. Consumer rights can apply where the seller fails to perform within the legally applicable period.
04 • Processing & DispatchPreparing your gemstone order
GemsVault aims to prepare orders promptly after payment and order verification. Actual preparation and dispatch time may vary depending on product availability, order verification, documentation, customization, destination requirements and carrier arrangements.
Where an expected dispatch or delivery date is specifically stated on a product page, checkout, order confirmation or other pre-contract information, that stated information should be read together with this policy.
For custom, specially prepared or otherwise individualized gemstone products, processing may require additional time where agreed with the customer. Any specific timeframe communicated to you will form part of the order information.
05 • TrackingShipment tracking
Where the chosen carrier provides tracking, GemsVault may supply a tracking number or tracking link after dispatch. Tracking events are generated by the carrier and can take time to appear after the parcel is accepted.
Tracking does not guarantee a particular delivery date.
06 • Signature & SecurityHigh-value gemstones
Gemstones can be valuable and individually distinctive. Depending on the order and destination, delivery may require signature confirmation, identification, declared value handling, insurance or another security measure.
Customers should keep the shipping package and documentation until the order has been fully checked.
07 • Customs & Import ChargesInternational orders
For customers outside Türkiye, an order may be subject to import duties, VAT/GST, customs charges, brokerage fees, inspection requirements or other destination-country charges. These amounts are imposed by the destination country or its authorities and are separate from GemsVault’s product price unless the checkout or order documentation expressly includes them.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery and customs information and for cooperating with reasonable customs requests. GemsVault cannot guarantee that a destination country’s customs authority will clear a shipment without delay.
Customers should check local import rules before ordering restricted, high-value or specially regulated gemstone materials.
08 • Delivery RiskLoss or damage during transit
For Turkish distance sales, the seller generally remains responsible for loss or damage to the goods until delivery to the consumer when the seller has chosen the carrier identified in the pre-contract information. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this shipping policy.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the package before opening it when reasonably possible, retain the packaging and contact GemsVault promptly at info@germsvault.com. This evidence can help us work with the carrier and assess the appropriate remedy.
09 • DelaysDelayed delivery
Carrier delays can arise from weather, customs, security inspections, transport disruption, incomplete addresses or other events outside the normal delivery process. If tracking indicates an unusual delay, contact us and we will review the available shipment information.
Delays do not remove any mandatory statutory rights that apply to your order.
10 • Failed DeliveryIncorrect or incomplete address
Customers should check the delivery address carefully before completing an order. If an address needs correction before dispatch, contact us immediately. Once a parcel is with the carrier, changes may not be possible or may incur carrier charges.
Any legal rights concerning delivery failure remain unaffected.
11 • Non-DeliveryIf an order cannot be delivered
If delivery becomes impossible, GemsVault will notify the customer where required by applicable law and will follow the applicable cancellation, refund or alternative-delivery rules.
For Turkish distance sales, the Ministry of Trade explains that where performance becomes impossible, the consumer must be informed and applicable payments must be refunded within the statutory period.
12 • Returns & RefundsShipping and returns work together
Shipping terms do not replace the customer’s statutory withdrawal, defect, conformity, cancellation or refund rights. Please read the Returns & Refund Policy for the applicable return procedure.
Where a return is required, GemsVault will provide the return instructions and applicable destination before the customer sends the product back.
13 • Order InformationWhat customers should review before payment
- the product description, photographs, measurements and available documentation;
- the delivery address and contact details;
- the shipping method and price displayed at checkout;
- any estimated or stated dispatch/delivery information;
- any customs, tax or import information relevant to the destination; and
- the Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refund Policy.
14 • ContactShipping support
Questions about a destination, delivery estimate, tracking number, customs issue or order shipment can be sent to info@germsvault.com.
15 • Legal PriorityMandatory rights are preserved
This policy is intended to explain the current GemsVault shipping approach. If a mandatory provision of applicable consumer law provides a customer with a right or protection that differs from this policy, the mandatory legal provision prevails.
