Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules that apply when you browse, create an account, communicate with GemsVault, or place an order through the website. They are written for clarity and are intended to work alongside our consumer, privacy, cookies, shipping and returns information.

1. About these terms

GemsVault operates an online gemstone marketplace and information website. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully, provide accurate information where required, and respect the intellectual-property and security rights associated with the site and its content.

These terms are intended to be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refund Policy.

2. Product information

Gemstones can vary naturally in colour, inclusions, pattern, transparency, proportions and appearance. Images are intended to represent the listed item, but screen settings, lighting and photography can affect how colour appears. Product descriptions, measurements, weight, treatments and other material characteristics should be reviewed before purchase.

3. Prices & availability

Prices and availability are shown on the website at the time of listing and may change. An item is not reserved merely because it has been viewed or added to a cart. Any tax, customs or import amounts that may apply to an international order depend on the destination and applicable rules.

4. Orders, accounts & payments

You are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing and delivery information. If an account is created, keep login credentials confidential and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. GemsVault may need to contact you to clarify an order, verify information, or address a shipping issue.

An order becomes subject to final acceptance after the checkout process and any required payment or verification steps have been completed. We may contact a customer when an apparent error in listing information, pricing, availability or shipping details needs clarification before fulfillment.

5. Gemstone treatments, disclosures & documentation

Where relevant to a specific gemstone, information about treatments, enhancements, origin, laboratory reports or other identifying documentation should be read from the product listing or accompanying documentation. Where a report is supplied, the issuing laboratory’s report and terms govern the technical findings stated in that report.

For independent industry reference, CIBJO publishes the Blue Books, which provide nomenclature and industry guidance for gemstones and related jewellery products. GIA also explains the role of gemstone identification reports and treatment disclosure in its coloured-gemstone buying guidance.

6. Consumer rights & distance contracts

For consumer transactions that fall within Türkiye’s distance-contract rules, mandatory consumer rights apply regardless of anything in these terms that could otherwise suggest a narrower contractual right. The Turkish Ministry of Trade states that the withdrawal period for a distance contract is generally 14 days where the right applies, subject to statutory exceptions and conditions.

Important: Some products may be excluded from or subject to exceptions to the standard withdrawal right. Because gemstone transactions can involve product-specific characteristics and applicable legal exceptions, the law governing the particular transaction takes priority over this general website summary.

For the current official framework, consult the Turkish Ministry of Trade distance-contract information and the Ministry’s Law No. 6502 consumer legislation resources.

7. Shipping & delivery

Shipping terms, destination availability, carrier handling, tracking, customs procedures and shipment issues are described in our Shipping Policy. Carrier availability can vary by destination and order requirements.

8. Returns & refunds

Return eligibility, withdrawal procedures, damaged or incorrect order handling and refund processing are described in our Returns & Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived by this page.

9. Website content & intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website layouts, text, branding, graphics and original content are owned by or licensed to GemsVault. You may access the website for personal or legitimate commercial evaluation and purchasing purposes, but you may not reproduce, scrape, republish or commercially exploit protected site content without permission or a legal right to do so.

10. External links

The website may link to third-party resources for education, legal reference, gemmological information or service-provider information. External links are provided as reference resources; GemsVault does not control those third-party websites, their availability, or their policies.

11. Privacy & communications

Information about personal data processing, cookies and user rights is available in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. For questions about an order or website transaction, use our Contact Us page.

For information about Türkiye’s personal-data framework, the official Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) is the relevant public resource.
